Printing is a process of pictures and text, commonly using ink, paper and a printing press. Over time, printing technology has improved significantly. Different techniques are available, but screen-printing is used most of the time.
Screen-printing, also referred to as silk screening, is a method that is best for surfaces that are relatively flat. In this process, fine mesh or a screen is tightly stretched around a rigid frame, with the screen masking areas which will not be printed. In order to make a print, the screen is placed atop the item that is to be printed; then a blob of thick ink is applied. Next the ink is pressed through the screen with the assistance of a squeegee. The ink bonds to the unmasked area, thereby creating the print, and the masked area is screened from ink penetration. After this, the printed item goes through a heated tunnel that dries the ink so that items can be stacked or put into packages.
When a multi-color print is made, the procedure is performed again, changing screens. Thus, multi-color prints necessitate multiple screens positioned on a rotary press or performed manually, aligning the various colored prints in conjunction.

Corporate gift giving is a tad impersonal than when we give gifts to people we are close to. Fundamentally, when we give gifts to people we know, we tend to consider if the recipient will be pleased with what we have given them. In corporate gift giving, however, this consideration is oftentimes absent.
Corporate gifts are usually valuable objects, and they are often given away without any symbol of the company on the item, as they are not for promotional purposes. However, sometimes corporations also give employees and prospective customers promotional merchandise such as USB drives, mouse-pads, key-chains and stationery items that are emblazoned with the company logo.
While giving a corporate gift, it is nevertheless important to keep in mind the interests of the person to whom the gift is being presented, and attempt to tailor it accordingly. For important customers, exotic and expensive items are the norm, while standardised corporate gifts should be given to members of a particular team of employees.
The effect of the corporate gift on the rapport with a client or a team member depends on how expensive the person perceives the gift to be. However, gifting is sometimes regulated by the law, so a confirmation with your legal department is worthwhile.

Even though television commercial is the preferred way businesses advertise their companies, it is an expensive promotional strategy. Button badges function as a low-cost alternative to multimedia promotions. One could not do wrong with button badges, considering that these corporate giveaways can be carried by anyone, anywhere.
Corporate gifts like button badges go hand in hand with company sponsored events. If a big community event is being planned by your company or business, such as a company picnic, you should know there should be enough button badges and promotional clothing to be given out. People who go to these events come to expect that they will be given promotional products such as button badges as part of the package. If they do not receive such items, they usually end up thinking negatively of your company.
Name tags & button badges portray an essential role. They not only draw attention to your logo; people at the event are easily identifiable as well. If you create a button badge or name tag, put your logo on it. This not only gives you an opportunity to advertise your brand; it also makes everybody feel that they are part of the same event.

Trophies symbolize victory. They are not only a sign of success but also a sweet memory of achievement. They are a constant source of encouragement and motivation to the recipient. This is why the trophy is generally designed to show the field in which the winner has accomplished something, like the engraving of a wrestler on a trophy from that particular sport.
Initially, trophies were used as identifiers of success of the winning army in the battlefield and were erected on the field itself. The tradition began in Greece where the routed enemy’s weapons and artillery were exhibited as trophies with a description of the battle engraved on them. These were considered offerings to the gods who had brought victory for them. In fact the very term trophy comes from the Greek term ‘tropaion’ which means ‘defeat’.
Romans had their own unique way of displaying their success through trophies. They erected huge pillars and columns that contained a sculpted trophy high up for everyone to see and take note of their victory. In later years, the kings and monarchs started giving out cups to the best sportsmen in the kingdom.

Trophies are normally made up of plastic, acrylic, resin, enamel, crystals, and metals such as pewter and steel. Gold and silver trophies are the expensive and the most sought ones.
Shapes of trophies depend on what event it is granted. Basketball-shaped trophy is handed during basketball game, football-shaped during football game, golf-shaped for golf competition, and human-shaped if it is for beauty contest . There are also other shapes of trophies that can be made such as beer can, all-star statuettes, home plate plaques, and pyramid trophies.
Trophies can be customized that can make them special and valuable. The trophy’s design is very important rather than its price.
During special ceremonies and events in government organisation, trophies are granted to government officials like police officers and fire fighters for their outstanding valor and courage. Usual shapes of trophies given to them are cup-shaped trophies, plaques, and bobble-head images of officers.
